Although this reunion is being sponsored by the class of '56, and assisted by the classes of '55, & '57, we want you to know all classes are included. Also, although many have already made their reservation, we want to encourage those of you that have not yet made your reservation at the YO and sent your reservation form and fee to Blanca Marroquin, to do so as soon as possible. Remember, the rooms at the YO are limited. And, even though we will use other motels in the area, the action is at the YO and that is where you will want to stay! We still have a few rooms available, so don’t delay!
Just a reminder about the YO Ranch Hotel rooms. One of the two night stays reserved at the YO Ranch Hotel reserved by August 1st will be FREE to someone and will be determined by a drawing at the YO.
So, those of you that have misplaced, lost or maybe just thrown away our hard work, here it is again.
O. K. Here Ya’ Go! This will be a blast!!!!

REGISTRATION & DINNER/DANCE
The cost for the Hospitality, Dinner/Dance is $50.00 per person. The dance orchestra is an outstanding local Jump, Jazz, Swing Boogie-Woogie & Blues group, Harry & The High Tones Swing band. This will be great music and entertainment. Not the junk they are playing today! The class of 1956 will be handling all registrations for the hospitality and dinner/dance. This is not to be confused with your hotel reservations which you must make on your own with the YO. Attire is casual, not formal. Sport coat for men and also casual for the gals. You know, pant suit, Sunday dress or equivalent.
Blanca Marroquin (class of ‘56) will be handling all of the registrations. Just complete the included sheet and mail it to Blanca with $50.00 per person that will attend. Your name tag will then be prepared and we will know you have registered.
A gift certificate for a two night stay at the Y O will be given away on Monday night. Those eligible must get their reservation to Blanca before August 1st. See details on registration page (Click Here) . Right click on the page to save the page to your desktop & print it.
A limited number of rooms are reserved, so make your reservations ASAP.
The flavor and romance of a colorful bygone era are immediately apparent upon entering the hotel. Frontier artifacts, indigenous Hill Country woods and limestone, museum quality game trophies and western-theme bronze sculptures adorn the expansive main lobby. The YO Ranch Resort Hotel and Conference Center provides a totally unique hotel experience.
We are looking forward to a great time in Kerrville. Pat Walsh (class of ‘56) lives in Kerrville and will co-ordinate all of the Kerrville activities. If you wish to contact Pat his cell number is (956)778-8342 or (830)896-0530. Pat’s email is firstname.lastname@example.org.

How to make your YO Ranch Tour Reservation
Call the YO Ranch to make your reservation (800)967-2624. Tell them you want to have the Chuckwagon Lunch at 12 noon and take the Wildlife Tour from 1 to 3 PM on Monday, October 19. The cost is $32.95 per person. Tell them you are in the McAllen High School Reunion group. Pat Walsh has been on the tour and feels it was very worthwhile. The Ranch is about 40 miles from Kerrville. A beautiful drive thru Hunt, Texas, and goes by the 60% replica of England’s Stonehenge called Stonehenge II. You might wish to plan on leaving Kerrville no later than 11:00AM.
Our banquet and dance will begin at 6:30 PM. Please email Pat Walsh you are going so he can follow up if necessary. His email is email@example.com .
A drawing will be made for those who tour the Y O ranch. Winner will receive 2 complimentary
tour tickets! The cost of 12 Noon tour and meal is $32.95 per person, tax included.
A number of people have ask about transportation to the YO Ranch tour. Here is the deal.
We can come up with 2- 14 passenger vans. If we have enough to fill one van, the cost will be $25.54 per person. If we have enough for two vans, the cost will be $23.22 per person. I feel sure we will fill both vans as we have 40 signed up. We can then car pool. This must be first come, first serve. So, if you wish to ride in a van, let me know & I will compile a list. When both vans have been filled, I will advise those who will have a seat. I have ask Pat if we can pay at the hotel on Sunday for the transportation. I feel confident we can pay then. Send Me an email at Gerald Gabbert.
Van Transportation - We have enough people for one van. Any additional people will need to furnish their own tranportation. I am sure carpooling coud be worked out.
